Import Your Films

Learn how to connect your Letterboxd and IMDb data to unlock personalized trivia

Import from Letterboxd

  1. 1.Go to letterboxd.com and sign in to your account
  2. 2.Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. 3.Select "Settings" and scroll to "Data"
  4. 4.Click "Export your data" — this downloads a .zip file, not a single CSV
  5. 5.Extract the zip to get to the CSV files inside: on iPhone/iPad, tap the downloaded file in the Files app and it unzips into a folder automatically; on Android, open your Files app, long-press the zip, and choose "Extract" (wording varies by file manager); on a computer, just double-click it
  6. 6.Come back here and upload the CSV files from that folder — you can select watched.csv, diary.csv, ratings.csv, and reviews.csv all at once to add your watched films to CineTrivia

Import from IMDb

  1. 1.Go to imdb.com and sign in to your account
  2. 2.Click on "Your lists" in the top menu
  3. 3.Select your watchlist or custom list of films you've rated
  4. 4.Click the menu icon and select "Export this list"
  5. 5.Choose CSV format and download the file
  6. 6.Come back here and upload the CSV file to add your IMDb films to CineTrivia

Upload Your Files

Once you have your CSV files downloaded:

Go to Film Library

You can upload and manage your films in the library page. Drag and drop or click to select your exported CSV files.
